Proof the world is still good doesn’t always make the headlines.

So, here are a few extra heartwarming details that didn’t make today’s Majic Minute 💫

🍕 The Meal Wall:
The woman who called Rosco’s Pizza never actually identified herself. But after manager Shanna Crice posted about the call on Facebook, people from around the world began contacting the restaurant asking how they could help. Within a week, the restaurant had a wall filled with prepaid meal vouchers, with heart-shaped stickers from places like Portugal, Spain and France. And to this day, Shanna still doesn’t know if the mystery woman who started it all ever saw what her phone call created. (📸 via: Rosco’s Pizza & WNDU / 16 News Now)

🧸 Rosie’s Extended Vacation:
Rosie had been accidentally left behind at the hotel after a family vacation in Sicily. After finding her, the staff turned the mistake into an adventure, photographing Rosie enjoying breakfast, lounging by the pool and even spending some time at the hotel bar. Then they mailed her home with the photos and a letter written in Rosie’s voice. It ended with the reminder: “My favorite place in the whole world is right beside you.” (📸 via: @andreamusa06)

🪟 The Hospital Window:
Emmalee Wilkins was being treated for leukemia at Cincinnati Children’s when she started putting homemade signs in her hospital window asking for pizza and donuts. Local businesses answered with food, but some also answered her signs with signs of their own, writing messages like “You got this!!” and “Keep that beautiful smile.” When Emmalee was asked how it felt knowing strangers had seen her signs and wanted to help, her answer was wonderfully simple: “It makes you feel good.” (📸 via: WKRC, Poseidon’s Pizza / Andrea Shirley)

🎬 What the Video Didn’t Tell You:

After only dating Rachel for two months before his accident, Carl told me how surprised he was that Rachel stayed by his side:

“I couldn’t believe that she would still be there, but she was,” he said.

That gave Carl the motivation to use his therapy sessions to plan what he called his “secret mission.”

And his therapist Amanda Cable with Fox Rehabilitation planned their sessions around each step.

Carl learned how to type again by focusing on writing his proposal speech for Rachel, and this is what it said:

“Rachel, you have done so much for me and you have brought me back to life. I want to take care of you for the rest of my life. I love you. Will you marry me?”

For Rachel’s Hebrew gift, Amanda modified the exercise with a thicker writing utensil and a slanted writing surface.

She even printed multiple copies for him to trace because, as she put it, “Carl demanded perfection for Rachel!”

And after all that work, there was one little problem:

The Hebrew ended up backward, but it was still a big hit with Rachel.

And Carl’s next “secret mission” is already taking shape.

He told me he plans to walk into neurology rooms at hospitals and talk directly to other stroke patients and tell them: “You can do this.”

Stay majical. 💫❤️❤️

So, here’s a few extra heartwarming details that didn't make today’s Majic Minute 💫

💵 The Forgotten Tip:
The customer, Roberto, had worked as both a busboy and waiter, and his sister had also waited tables. So he knew firsthand what it felt like when someone left little or no tip. He was actually about 75% sure he had tipped that day, but that other 25% bothered him enough that weeks later, he still wanted to make sure. (📸 via: Langer's Deli & EPCC )

🐦 The Pigeon:
According to Oakland Firefighters, the pigeon actually walked up to the crew seeking help after the vehicle fire. They gave the bird oxygen, and after clearing its lungs, their unexpected little patient flew away. (📸 via: Oakland Firefighters Local 55/FB )

🎃 Early Halloween:
Soren dressed as a banana for his special trick-or-treating day and managed to visit 70 of the 83 participating homes. His mom said they severely underestimated how many bags they would need for everything neighbors gave him, including candy, toys and even LEGO sets. And after 70 houses? She said Soren “wasn’t tired” at all. (📸 via: @spittingwisdom )

🧶 The Baby Blankets:
Each blanket takes Eliz nearly three days to crochet by hand. Her care home helps with some of the wool, but Eliz buys the rest herself. She says the project is especially meaningful because she never had grandchildren of her own, and she has no plans to stop crocheting anytime soon. (📸 via: NHS )

♿ The 3D-Printed Wheelchair:
Zac is only 13 years old, and the project actually took him nearly 300 hours to design, print, test and assemble. He customized the chair with pink accents because pink is the little girl’s favorite color, along with an adjustable headrest and footrest so the chair can grow with her. 💦 The Slip N Slide:
The Ride ’n Slide is actually an annual tradition at Adams Place. One resident getting ready for his turn was Army veteran and retired minister Mike Mitchell, who gave himself a little pep talk before hitting the slide: “I can do this. I’m a soldier, I can do this.” (📸 via: NewsChannel5/Nashville )

🐶 100 Hours of Storytime:
Nehemiah has been reading to animals at the Jacksonville Humane Society for two years and became the first child in its Pawsitive Reading program to reach 100 volunteer hours. Kids earn colored paw-print stickers as they hit reading milestones, and Nehemiah finally earned the coveted sparkly gold paw print along with a certificate signed in gold ink. He says he hopes his reading helps calm the dogs and gets them adopted faster. (📸 via: Jacksonville Humane Society )

✈️ The Flight Attendant:
Monique Harris was working a morning flight from Newark to Grand Rapids when she noticed the exhausted mother and stepped in. Monique also has a tradition of writing encouraging notes to passengers, and she said in reports that her note to this mom included a reminder that “she’s stronger than she feels.” (📸 via: John Frehse )

🎸 Ernie didn't just lend his Ford Explorer to Autumn Kings long enough to make their next show. He let three complete strangers take it for several days as they traveled more than 1,000 miles finishing their tour. The band later said his kindness “restored our faith in humanity.” And after all that scrambling to make it to the Upheaval Festival in Michigan, they called the performance “the greatest show of our career.” (📸 via: Autumn Kings)

🐶 The trash can falling off that truck may have literally saved PJ's life. Sanitation workers said the bins normally don't fall off before being emptied into the truck, where the trash goes through a compactor. PJ weighed just 10 pounds when he was found, but somehow he was still wagging his tail and looking for affection. After Alex adopted him, PJ more than doubled his weight to 24 pounds, started sleeping on Alex's bed and pillows, and even became snuggle buddies with his new dog sister Fiona. 🏎️ Granborghini isn’t just about taking grandmas for rides, it’s trying to fight something much bigger. Mark’s grandmother Hazel decided to leave this world after struggling with loneliness, before Mark could fulfill his promise to take her for a ride in a Lamborghini. Mark has said that if Granborghini can save even one person from being in a similar situation, that's success to him. And the project eventually became even more literal than its name. Mark bought his own Lamborghini Huracán and wrapped it bright pink to help bring attention to the mission. One of the seniors who got a ride was 92-year-old Bessie, who celebrated her birthday in a McLaren and joked that her 12-year-old grandson would be furious because he dreams of joining the McLaren racing team and his grandma got there first. 🎬 What the Video Didn't Tell You:

Ms. Lacey said these kids run up to her every single time they see her, with or without Charlie, asking a million questions, telling her things about their lives, and just wanting to chat.

Ms. Lacey told me that every single "I love you, Miss Lacey" melts her heart a little more each time.

She also said these kids have taught her that love has no boundaries or barriers. And she hopes they always know her door is open.

Because the hugs, giggles and compliments these kids give her mean more to Ms. Lacey than they'll probably ever know.

🎬 What the Video Didn’t Tell You:

The promise Dr. Austin made Dylan almost disappeared along the way.

As the years passed, he tucked the promise away and nearly forgot about it.

Until his graduation approached and Dylan’s mom asked him who he wanted there…. and Dr. Austin was number one on his list.

But there was a reason Dylan was eventually told she couldn’t come.

Dr. Austin was on call that weekend in Seattle, and she and Dylan’s mom decided not to tell him she was still trying to make it.

“I didn't want Dylan being disappointed on a day that should be really, really happy,” Dr. Austin told me.

But even after Dr. Austin caught that early morning flight, she still didn’t know if she’d make it in time.

Her flight was scheduled to land only about 90 minutes before graduation, followed by a 40 minute drive from the airport. So any small delay could have ruined the surprise.

Dr. Austin told me it wasn’t until she was finally in the Uber that she realized she was going to make it.

And when Dylan finally saw her, he told me: "I didn't even think it was real. I was like, am I dreaming right now?"

The hug that followed lasted nearly a full minute.
But graduation wasn’t the end of their story.

Because Dr. Austin is already planning to be there for another milestone… Dylan’s college graduation.

There’s another reason seeing Lewis Capaldi meant so much to Noah.

Noah was diagnosed with a tic disorder when he was seven, and Rachel said seeing one of his idols openly live with Tourette’s has helped him.

And when their concert video unexpectedly went viral, Lewis himself saw it and commented with heart emojis.

Rachel said despite everything their family has been through, she considers herself incredibly lucky.

“We’re a team, and together no matter how hard life gets, I count myself rich how lucky I am to call him my son.”

And while Lewis has already seen their video, Rachel and Noah are still hoping they'll get the chance to meet him in person someday.

So, if you know how to help make that Lewis Capaldi meeting happen, leave a comment.

Until then, Rachel and Noah have a lot more singing, laughing and memories to make together.

🎅 Dave didn't stop being Santa just because he was recovering from kidney surgery. He was still wearing his Santa hat from his hospital bed. And after losing 40 pounds just to qualify and donating his kidney to a stranger, Dave said he hopes his story inspires more people to consider becoming living donors. 🚲 Royal's entire encounter with Teresa was captured from his point of view because he happened to be wearing Google glasses while riding his bike. Teresa was 75 years old and had been diagnosed with dementia the year before. She was carrying a grocery bag and purse when Royal found her struggling in the heat, and after he helped contact her son, paramedics treated her for possible heat exhaustion. Her son Jeff later said he was incredibly thankful Royal stopped, because the situation could have ended very differently. (📸 via: Royal Cothrun / Jeff Morgan)

🍕 Chris had actually been noticing signs of people eating from the dumpster behind his shop, Heights Pizza Man for years. But after his Facebook post, he didn't just offer to help someday. Chris ended the message by saying he was leaving a cheese pizza outside the back door that night, in the same spot where people had been leaving empty boxes. And the kindness started spreading. People sent money to help him feed others, while one family Chris helped later left him a handwritten note saying they were going through a hard time and he responded right away when they asked for help. They ended it simply: “This act of kindness from you to our family is so appreciated. Thank you!” (📸 via: Chris Kolstad | Heights Pizza Man )

🎬 What the Video Didn’t Tell You:

The kids never knew their movie trip almost didn’t happen.

Sean told me the students had no idea the promised funding had disappeared. As far as they knew, the trip they’d spent weeks looking forward to was happening exactly as planned.

And there was a reason Sean rented the entiretheater instead of just buying tickets.

He told me some of these kids have never even been to the other side of the highway. Some live in homes where four kids sleep in the same room, and he said some don't even have a mattress of their own.

"They have to share everything with everyone," Sean told me. "But for this one day, they had an entire theatre to themselves."

When he told the kids they'd have the theater to themselves, Sean said they immediately felt “important and special.”

But this wasn't the first time Sean had quietly stepped in to keep a promise at the school.

The year before, funding for their end-of-summer trip to a water park also disappeared. Sean stepped in then too, paying about $3,000 so 120 kids could still go.

In 2019, he founded Put On The Cape: A Foundation For Hope, a nonprofit that supports child advocacy centers and children experiencing abuse.

Sean has also written four children's books, and he told me he uses royalties from those books to help fund the foundation and step in when children and families need immediate help.

But Sean doesn't want these kids to pay him back.

Before the movie, he asked them to do something else instead:

"As you get older in life, help other people as a payback to me."

Maybe that's the part of this story that hasn't happened yet.

Stay majical 💫❤️❤️
