About
Why Majically Exists
Born From Heartbreak
Built On Hope
In 2010, I lost my mom to depression and it broke me in ways I didn’t know how to fix. So, for years, I tried to numb the pain with drugs and alcohol until I almost didn’t make it myself.
But hitting rock bottom and almost dying made one thing clear: the only way that I could truly heal was to help others heal too.
So I built Majically. A place where people could find proof that the world is still good. And I spell it with a “J” for my mom, Jan.
Behind The "J"
Here's What Happened
And How I Found Hope
I’ve spent years building Majically without ever fully explaining why.
And it’s not because I didn’t want to. It’s because I was terrified.
When people see Majically today, they see a place filled with hope, kindness, and stories that remind them the world is still good. What they don’t always see is where that mission came from.
This is the story of losing my mom. Of losing myself. And of finding something worth building on the other side of the hardest years of my life.
It’s also the story behind the “J” in Majically, and why proving the world is still good has become my life’s work.
I’m sharing it now because I believe stories can change lives. And if sharing mine helps even one person feel a little less alone or a little more hopeful, then it’s worth telling.
Whatever brought you here, I’m grateful you’re watching.
