Woman cries happy tears when reporter surprises her with lost engagement ring after viral story.

A Texas couple is celebrating some good news after losing their engagement ring while enjoying a romantic getaway in Breckenridge, Colorado.

After couple, Paulina Morales and Deven Maraj’s frantic story went viral, and a cash prize of $500 was made public, a good Samaritan with a metal detector went looking for the couple’s ring.

The kind stranger was Tony Pizzamigalo, a summit county resident who went hunting for the ring with his metal detector after hearing the story.

That’s when Spencer Wilson, a CBS4 reporter who had also been looking for the ring with a blowtorch, broke the news to the couple that their ring had been found.

“No, you’re kidding me!” Morales said in the call with Wilson. “I’ve got chills, I’ve got chills. This is such good news.”

The bride-to-be couldn’t have been happier and gladly forked over the reward money to good Samaritan, Tony Pizzamigalo, who plans on donating the money to Summit County Rescue Group.

When asked about how she felt about her newest hero, Tony P., she simply replied, “he’ll be invited to the wedding.”
