A groundbreaking 7-acre dog park in the UK is changing the game for pups with disabilities, and their humans.

Broken Biscuits Disabled Dog Park is the first of its kind in the world, created to make sure that wheelchair users, Tripaws, blind, and deaf dogs are acknowledged, included, and celebrated. Too often, this community is invisible in the pet industry, but Broken Biscuits is determined to change that.

Here, every detail is designed for accessibility and fun, from the custom race track and the learner drivers test at the “driving school,” to the picnic-friendly pit stop café and “skate dates” at Sophie’s Stables, where pups can meet friends they’ve connected with online.

Founded to support families, vets, and the pet sector, Broken Biscuits works to “give dogs back their run.” Every year, thousands of dogs in the UK lose their mobility due to injury, illness, or congenital conditions. But with the right care and equipment, a life-changing injury doesn’t have to be a life-ending one.

The organization partners directly with veterinary professionals to educate the community about rehabilitation options, provide wheelchairs and mobility aids, and offer a safe space for dogs to test out new gear. They also connect pet parents with a network of others who have faced similar challenges, creating a powerful, informed support system.

Their mission is simple yet life-changing: Educate, rehabilitate, and secure a future. Broken Biscuits is proof that with compassion, creativity, and the right resources, every dog, no matter their ability, can live a happy, active life.
