A Lebanese doctor didn’t let any obstacle get in his way when it came to delivering a newborn baby boy who needed his help.
Due to the current gas crisis in Lebanon, Dr. Zaki Sleiman was out of fuel, and needed to get to Rizk Hospital in Beirut for the delivery of a newborn.
With no time left to make a different plan, Dr. Zaki, got on his bike and rode the 8 miles to the hospital.
He arrived at the hospital just in time to deliver a healthy baby boy. After the delivery, the doctor posted photos of him with the boy on Facebook, writing:
“Keep this picture little boy, one day your parents will tell you that your doctor came on his bike to deliver you, because you were born in the era of lack of Petrol.”
Not all heroes wear capes, they wear everyday clothes and, in this case, a helmet and bike gear! Thank you, Dr. Zaki, for going above and beyond to ensure this child came into this world safely. You are the real MVP!
